Dans ma garde-robe il y a...

It's all very well me posting a few of my favourite web findings now and again, but I bet you're wondering what I actually wear myself? Well, the wait is over. Apologies in advance for the non-ironed clothes but I am a creature of habit and make a point of never ironing anything. That, and the fact that I should never be left alone with any type of electrical appliance. Trust me, there have been many low points over the years - I think we've all been there - but here are a few of the current highlights from 'Inside My Wardrobe'...

My military style cropped jacket in midnight blue velvet with black brocade lapels. I bought it from the Monsoon Fusion range in the winter sale about two years ago (back when I worked there) and it was an absolute steal at £19.50 reduced from £85. The most shocking thing is I've never actually worn it but as you can imagine, am in no way ready to part with it! Maybe it'll make it's debut this Christmas?

Another of my Monsoon faves. Gorgeous colour and very flattering shape. Monsoon have done this in so many colours over the years and it's easy to see why. Absolutely love this.

I snapped up this dress from H&M last summer. Not only does it look great in the summer with a pair of embellished flip-flops and a cute bag but is great for layering up over leggings and a long-sleeved tee at this time of year.

This cute playsuit was an absolute bargain from Primark for £13. A friend actually bought it and decided it wasn't for her. Luckily I interveined before she had a chance to return it as this is another of the many items I just couldn't be without. It's daytime summerwear turned all-year-round party wear perfection. The most flattering and the most hard-working item in my wardrobe.

My favourite summer dress without a doubt. A tad off season, I know but it's so cute I just had to include it. This is one of the many Urban Outfitters pieces I own.

This French Connection dress formed the basis for my New Year 2008/2009 outfit. It was a bit of a splurge at £85 but was totally worth it as even though I've not worn it since, it is an absolute fashion classic and I've no doubt I will wear it again soon.

No self respecting fashionista's wardrobe would be complete without a bit of leopard print and this is mine. Another Monsoon beauty and goes with pretty much everything.

I love this Topshop cardi so much. Totally cool and very wearable, it works so well with leggings, long socks and work boots for this time of year. Another 2009 sale bargain.

The newest addition to my wardrobe - the Gap wolf print sweater dress. I just couldn't resist it and like the above, works so well with the whole leggings/socks/boots combo.

My Biba jacket - possibly the most amazing (and most expensive) item of clothing I own. Needless to say, it was a gift from my lovely boyfriend. And, needless to say, I wear it all. The. Time. The tailoring is so beautiful it is a true work of genius. And it's from Biba at House of Fraser - a timeless classic.

So cute, especially layered over a simple vest and shorts in the summer. Another Topshop item from the archives.

Another piece of beautiful from the Monsoon Fusion SS'08 collection. This is perfect with a pair of black skinnies and some sexy killer heels. I love the unusual bubble hem detail as well.

The luxe tee - a must-have in anyone's wardrobe - and this has done some hard work in mine. Love the flower print and the cotton-doily sleeves. This is an oldie from the Topshop t-shirt archives.

A Topshop work of genius and possibly the bargain of the century at just £7! Everything about this top is perfect - the firework print, the slash-neck, the ruffle sleeves and the fact that it's backless with a bow detail at the back.

This oversized Urban Outfitters tee has been another of the most hard working items in my wardrobe this summer. Classic, cool and very pretty. Looks great layered up at this time of year as well.

This royal blue H&M shirt is so versatile. It looks fab tucked into dark skinnies, or tied up round the waist layered over a basic vest. Such a great colour as well.

Another brainchild of the geniuses at Topshop. I wore this out to a bar in Chicago with gold srappy heels and clashing clutch last summer. It worked a treat.
