Not only has each piece lived a long an happy life with someone before you, it also has a unique and individual story to tell. Not just about it's previous owner but about the era in which it was made and the travels it may well have embarked upon.
Every time I fall in love with an item of vintage clothing, I always wonder where it has been, where it was made and who owned it before it ended up on the rails of a vintage or charity shop being tried on and lusted over by many a budding fashionista.
Not only that, fashion is constantly reinventing itself and more often we're seeing many a high street and catwalk collection inspired by fashion of past 100 years and beyond.
If only clothes could talk, eh?
